- Uncle Seth’s Pond was historically used for agriculture irrigation Uncle Seth’s Pond is part of the Pleasant Bay ‘Area of Critical Environmental Concern’ (ACEC) due to a hydro-connection from the pond to Tar Kiln Marsh, via Tar Kiln stream. In recent years the connection has filled in and has only intermittent flow.
