Out of an abundance of caution the Orleans Health Department has issued a warning due to the presence of a potential algal bloom at Pilgrim Lake. It may be unsafe for people and pets, so please do not swim or play in the water at this time. People and pets who may have been exposed to any algal bloom are advised to rinse off as soon as possible.
