Craine Gallery at Snow Library, 67 Main St., Orleans
The theme of the Orleans Pond Coalition’s 2026 Celebrate Our Waters is “our waters as artistic inspiration.” The centerpiece of this celebration is a curated photography exhibition containing the work of local photographers inspired by the beauty of Cape Cod’s magnificent waterscapes. These pictures will hang in the Craine Gallery of Snow Library from September 1 until September 30.
Please stop by to enjoy the artistry of our friends and neighbors that is inspired by the spectacular beauty of this place we call home.
In September, there will be 2 special events in the Gallery that you won’t want to miss:
- An artist’s reception on Saturday, September 12, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm
- Celebrate Our Waters events on Saturday, September 19, including:
- poetry readings with Christine Jones from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm.
- a presentation by naturalist Peter Trull entitled “The Splendor and Biological Diversity of Our Coastal Plain Ponds” from 1:00 to 2:00 pm, and
- a Family Sing-Along concert with Paul Kehoe from 2:30 to 3:30 pm.
