Priscilla Landing, Orleans
Join Bob Prescott, Sanctuary Director Emeritus for the Mass Audubon Wellfleet Bay Sanctuary, to watch for migrating shorebirds feeding along the water’s edge, seabirds and sea ducks off-shore, herons and egrets in the marsh, and perhaps even a Peregrine Falcon zipping by on the hunt. Bring binoculars and meet at Priscilla Landing.
Directions: Driving towards Nauset Beach on Beach Rd., turn left onto Nauset Heights Rd. Travel on Nauset Heights Rd for 0.8 miles. Turn left onto Ivanough Rd, then after 250 ft turn right onto Priscilla Rd. At the end of the road will be the Priscilla Landing parking lot, on left.
NOTE: Space in this lot is limited to ~ 6 cars. You may need to park on Priscilla Rd. There will be a parking attendant to guide you. Please follow his instructions so we can expedite parking and begin the tour on time.
