Addison Art Gallery Demonstrations, Reception & Exhibition

August 10, 2021 By John Smith

Saturday, September 13th, 4:00 to 6:00 at Addison Art Gallery (Map location #6)

As it has since the inception of Celebrate Our Waters, The Addison Art Gallery will host a reception during which award winning Truro artist Amy Sanders will be demonstrating pastel painting, and nationally acclaimed Cape Cod singer and song writer Sarah Burill will be performing. The art exhibit will feature recent works that capture the famous Cape light and favored water views, along with a diversity of other subjects by regional and international artists.

Addison Art Gallery
Designated Cape Cod’s Best Gallery by Cape Cod Magazine, the internationally respected Addison Art Gallery is widely known for representing the region’s most popular artists, bringing exceptional emerging artists to the market, offering collectors a plethora of opportunities to get to know artists, and generously supporting numerous community, charitable and environmental organizations. This fine art gallery represents artists from across the United States, Mexico and France, and is home to many of the most sought-after Cape Cod artists. Housed in a charming Cape house overlooking Orleans Town Cove, the welcoming gallery provides a comfortable environment for viewing art worth collecting.

The Addison Art Gallery, often praised for its ingenious exhibitions and events, has collaborated with the Cape Cod Museum of Art, Provincetown Art Association & Museum, Truro, Wellfleet and Eastham libraries, Cape Cod Hospital, Truro Historical Society, Orleans Conservation Trust, Orleans Improvement Association, Orleans Pond Coalition, and Henry Beston Society. The gallery was also chosen as the Cape Cod National Seashore’s dedicated art partner for the 50th anniversary of the Seashore as well as the 100th anniversary of the National Park Service.

Parking at the Addison Gallery is very limited, so please take advantage of parking available on Saturday afternoon at the closed commercial establishments like the Rockland Trust, Cape Cod 5 Bank, Bank of America, Post Office Square and other places nearby.
