Saturday, September 13th, and Sunday, September 14th
On September 13th-14th, the Orleans Pond Coalition will host the third and final “Celebrate Our Waters” weekend event for the year.
We are planning two full days of fun and informative activities, including two new kayaking trips on Pleasant Bay and a presentation by Dr Alyssa Novak, a coastal ecologist at Boston University, on her research to enhance eelgrass resiliency in our estuaries.
Take advantage of many favorite outings from years past, including sailing on Pleasant Bay, hiking on Sipson Island and to Pochet Island, beach yoga, bird watching, and much more. And don’t miss the ever-popular concert and bonfire on Nauset Beach on Saturday evening. More information and event registration will be available in August. We hope to see you there!
